Snow & Strikes!

Well we have had all sorts of problems thrown at us this week! Including examiner strikes regarding the new car driving test changes and then we were hit with Amber weather warning conditions and a shed load of snow!

Even though the examiners have been on strike in reference to CAR tests this has also had a knock on affect to the LGV tests as many examiners will take car & lgv tests out. To read more about the recent strike action and how this may have affected you please look at https://www.gov.uk/government/news/driving-examiner-strike-december-2017

You can also read more about the recent changes to the car test here:

The weather conditions on the other hand have not yet gone away! The Met office have recently released another weather warning of more snow showers in the north west of the UK and parts of northern Ireland and Scotland. Hopefully we will steer clear of this and tests can go ahead as normal!

If you are however affected by the icy & snowy conditions and you cannot attend your test or have travelled a long distance and your test is cancelled you can claim expenses and your test will also be reimbursed with another allocated date.

Follow the link below to apply for out of pocket expenses.

Safe travels and watch the roads!
